Site Plan

DESCRIPTION

The site is of broadly rectangular shape and extends to a total of 0.71 hectares (1.76 acres). Access to the site comes from Coppetts Road, at its juncture with Osier Crescent and the mini roundabout.

The site is currently occupied by a collection of buildings including five former hospital blocks, arranged broadly into a courtyard structure. The buildings have not been occupied in recent years and are predominantly in a poor state of repair. The building fronting Coppetts Road is known as the Administration Building and is of an older construction than the rest, whilst also benefitting from some features of architectural merit.

The site is relatively flat, with a 1m change in level across the whole, before the land falls away to the north and west.
